2011 Resolution
The central theme for 2011 will be to take more chances and risks.  For most of my life, I tend to play things out pretty safe.  I won’t go after things unless I know they will end up positive for me.  Time to step outside the boundaries. No more playing it safe. I’m going for it ALL! No guts, No Glory! 2011, let’s do it!!!!!

#2: Vietnam
I dont really need to say too much about this moment.  It was an insane month for me.  It was the reason I started a blog so that I can record the things I saw and felt so the first few entries pretty much said everything I wanted to say about it.  Another trip to Asia is definitely in my future plans.

Beautiful weather. Hot girls. Alcohol. Mopeds. Beaches. Alcohol. Kalua Pig Nachos. (yes. im serious. Kalua Pig Nachos … I know. It blew my mind too) More alcohol. And great company. I don’t need to say much, you already know I had a great time. I’m ready to go back with everybody.

#4: Three 23's
This moment pretty much kicked off 2010 for me.  I should’ve taken it as an omen that 2010 was gonna be good when it started on such a high note.  For first 22 years of my life, my birthdays were cool, I enjoyed em I guess but if you asked me what I did for my __th birthday? I couldn’t even tell you.  None were memorable enough for me to recollect off the top of my head.  But this...

#5: The Night the City Burned Orange
It was November 2, 2010, I had just woken up after attending the craziest party San Francisco has ever seen. Maybe there were better parties (after all San Francisco is notorious for hosting huge festivals like LoveFest and shit like that) but for a diehard sports fan like myself, none of those come close. Not even a little bit.  I remember being 7, going to my first sporting event ever. It was...

2010
For me, Christmas caps off the year every year. I don’t know anyone who has birthdays between now and December 31st and rarely does something major ever happens during this time so Christmas marks the finish line for 2010. And what a year it has been! If I could use a sports analogy (since sports and music pretty much dominate my life), this year would be a championship season. I’ve...

How to Look Busy at Work Without Really Working
Know what the standards are. At the end of the day, you still have to meet those standards if you want to keep your job. The main thing you should know is how much time your manager or boss expects you to spend on a particular project or assignment. Spend that amount of time on it—no more, no less (unless, of course, efficiency is actually rewarded in your position, not punished). If,...
